As a passionate fan of motorsports, I’ve been lucky enough to attend races all over the globe. With previous competitive experience, I’ve learned how to capture the excitement from the driver’s seat to the paddock to the fan in the grandstand.
My photography focuses on major events including Formula 1, MotoGP, IMSA, and WEC. Occasionally I’ll blend in private track days for manufacturers, teams, and drivers, and do several editorial performance car reviews. I’ve provided motorsports photography coverage for Red Bull, Jalopnik, Ferrari, ESM Patron, NIO, Mobil 1 The Grid, Austin Fit Magazine, and Longhorn Racing Academy. The pictures you’ll see will be simple, but involved with the moment. There is also an emphasis on behind the scenes details you can’t see on TV or from the grandstand. I try to keep the images clean, and consider myself a natural light photographer.
With regard to gear, I’m a dedicated Canon supporter. For me, they make the best product for my work, and Canon Professional Services is the best support team on the planet. Sorry, Nikon fans. In my spare time, I provide driving instruction to various groups and clubs, with an emphasis on intermediate to advanced drivers.
